It is amazing that He want to use us in ways that have eternal impact! How can we not be humbled by this and thankful for that privilege.
I count it a privilege to be returning to Sunrise City. I was last there in 2009 and that experience has never left me. It changed the way I view so many things. My heart was broken for those who do not know my Father... our Father. My friend Heather that traveled with me in '09 shared a song that speaks volumes "I saw what I saw" by Sara Groves.
I am growing to love the people our Father has brought together and the unique talents each possess. We have sewers, mathematicians, counselors, english teachers, music & activity planners, safety coordinator and the gifts continue. Most importantly we all have a heart for children and a desire to see them have a life long relationship with our Father.
To all of you who will be our "rope holders" while we are gone please continue to remember us to our Father whenever you think of us. We seek to bring honor to His name in all our words, actions and deeds. We desire to be a special blessing to the workers in Sunrise City, they have a very difficult job. Please remember us to our Father for His provision of the team, that our focus would be kept on Him and finally peace of mind and protection for our families that will be staying here.
23 Days & Counting!
Until later...
